Marion Moseby is the uptight manager of the Tipton Hotel, who speaks with an extensive and an urban vernacular. He has a brother Spencer Moseby.

He is often annoyed by Zack and Cody's schemes and antics. In the episode "Hotel Inspector" in the baseball game he caught a ball for Cody which made him the most hated man in Boston. He is more of a father to London Tipton, he taught her the alphabet (that took fourteen years), how to ride a bike, how to roller skate, and how to drive. He cares for London and treats her like his own daughter.

In the new spin off series he keeps the boys and London out of trouble. He is also a big fan of Lil' Little. He develops a crush on Cody, Zack, Bailey, London, Woody, Marcus and Addison's teacher.
